DIY: Beaded Felt Religious Bracelet

Last week I blogged about the 5 de Mayo, and I also told you about a DIY I made for the occasion, well finally here it is.

In a country where the majority of the population is catholic, the religious jewelry is a must, this time I used some items I bought at the church, an scapular, milagros (miracles charms) and saint pendants.

For this project you're gonna need: felt, velcro closure, beads, religious charm, an scapular, studs and thread and needle. You could also add stars and rhinestones, whatever you want!

Last year I made a very similar DIY bracelet, you can see the full tutorial here. It's basically the same technique and instructions: cut a rectangular piece of felt the size of your wrist, design your template leaving some space to add the velcro or button closure, and add glue to the big charms and scapulars, using thread and needle start beading your bracelet and when you're done add another piece of felt to the back so you can't see the thread, you can either glue it or thread it.

And because religious jewelry could always be trendy and protective, I'm showing my favorites pieces:
