As you might have seen, the sporty trend was a HUGE one on spring collections, I even made a Trend Report about it because I really like it (you can read it here), because it's comfortable and you get to play with your sporty pieces, daring to mix them with feminine and casual-unexpected pieces, I have to admit that maybe I'm wearing more hoodies with heels than with sneakers (call it my not-feeling-like-going-to-the-gym phase).
Anyway, after seen an editorial on April 2012 Glamour magazine, I fell in love with all the perforated sporty items and went to my fabric store to buy some vinyl perforated fabric. Today I show you the clutch I made, keep tuned because I also made a bracelet to show you later.
You'll need: A sturdy clutch or sunglasses case (you can add a knob with a drill as seen on this DIY), Vinyl (or leather) perforated fabric, strong glue (I used E6000), scissors and a toothpick or something pointy to get the fabric inside edges.
Start by measuring the fabric over the clutch, then cut it in the size needed and apply the glue on the clutch, I started from the bottom. Because my clutch had some metal hardware, it was easier for me just to insert the fabric into the edges, pushing it with a toothpick.
Think of this as if you were wrapping a present.
Here's the Final result:
I really liked how it looked, modern and chic!
What do you think?

Wow!! It looks so well made!
