This weekend I was trying to make some friendship bracelets, but somehow I ended making this threaded necklace, inspired by some jewelry I've seen lately, that involved rhinestones and thread.
So here's my own DIY necklace, let's see what you need:
-Jewelry Wire
-Jewelry Pliers
-Rhinestone Chain
-Thread in 3 colors you like.
-Chain
-Jump Rings
-Clasp
Start by making a loop on the wire, then make a drop using the pliers and loop the rest of the wire on top and cut it. I wanted a hammered look on the drop so I use the pliers to achieve it.
Measure your rhinestone chain so it's about the size of your drop, cut it.

Using thread, wrap it several time around the first two rhinestones on each side, make a knot and cut it, leaving the ends undone.
Repeat this step for the two other thread colors.
Add a Jump ring on the loop you made.
Add a chain on the jump ring, and start making knots with the thread all over the chain.
It will look like this:
That's it, you can use my inspiration items to add some thread to rings, earrings, hoops, whatever comes to your mind!

Wow! Where d'you get these things? I love how you create these things!
