I've been a fan of Eddie Borgo funky jewelry for a while, perhaps you remember my DIY Pentagram Ring inspired by Eddie's; so it was time for me to investigate more about him and get to know who's behind one of my favorites brands.
The Atlanta-bred, New York based designer, started to create one-of-a-kind pieces back in 2002, designing for famous stylists like Tabitha Simmons, but it was in the summer of 2008 that Eddie designed the jewelry for Phillip Lim's SS09 show, and after that, he launched his own collection.

Today, Eddie Borgo has built a well known brand, in 2010 Eddie was awarded runner up in the CFDA/Vogue Fashion fund, and in 2011 Eddie won the CFDA Swarovski award for innovation in accesory design, cool isn't it?, and of course, deserved.
