Hi everyone! If you're a frequent reader of my blog, then you must know that I'm actually at NYC for Fashion's Night Out (thanks to Polyvore), and while I'm away I'm sharing my blog with a very fashionable lady, Anya Sarre from shoedazzle .
Anya is a stylist with Shoe Dazzle, she just recently welcomed her first child into the world; She has been regularly featured in print magazines and on television (Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, and the STYLE network to name a few).
And while this is a post about summer and we're almost ending this season, I didn't want to left behind many VJuliet readers from other countries that are about to finish their cold winters and start their hot summers in style.
Thanks Anya!

Summer Fashions of 2012: Find the Style to Make You Look Good and Feel Great
This summer, be bright, be bold and be original. If the recession has you singing the blues, a bright and bold skirt, shirt or pair of shoes will brighten your day—and the day of people around you. From the bright pink skinny pants to the yellow flowing skirt, fabrics are featuring every color of the rainbow. Let’s take a look at some of the latest trends in style, colors and accessories.
Don’t Forget the Blouse and Necklace
When paired with a tank, tunic or fitted blouse, the flowing skirt transforms into three different ensembles. If you cannot decide which look is best, decide based on the weather or your mood. Suppose it is hot outside and you will be at a festival—simply slather on the sunscreen, a fitted tank with your skirt, a bulky necklace for intrigue and head out of the door.
If you are headed to the beach at night or you will be dining on the veranda when temperatures decrease, consider a tunic with your flowing skirt. It will give you a trendy bohemian look that will make you look like an islander and keep you warm.
Are you feeling traditional? A simple fitted blouse will do the trick. Just make sure the color is complementary. Neutrals such as beige or gray will complement a canary yellow skirt. Browns, blues and oranges will also work as well. Keep in mind that lighter colors will absorb less of the sun’s rays and will keep you cooler if you will be outside.
Shoes, Shoes, Shoes,
Of course, you need a pair of shoes. No ensemble is complete without a complementary pair of shoes. From open toe wedge heels or a pair of embellished ballerina flats, feel confident in the shoes you wear. Pair a maxi dress with a studded flats and studded earrings for the perfect low-key look. Or even slide into a pair of colored denim and step into an animal print inspired pump for a glamorous touch! Whichever look, be sure to strut your stuff for all to see this summer.
Be Ready for Summer
With your new versatile ensemble, you are ready to take summer by storm. Mix and match blouses, shoes and accessories with your skirt for a completely new look. The choice is yours. Whatever you choose to do, do it with confidence and style.
