DIY: Safety Pins and Pearls Bracelet

It's been a while since I posted my last DIY project, I had some rough weeks but I'm back on my way now.

Safety pins are not only for securing some of your clothes when facing a major wardrobe malfunction, but for making jewelry! yes, I've seen some of these pins used by different designers, and now I show you how to make a super easy bracelet with them.

You'll need:
-Safety Pins in the metal color you like, I used about 31 pins for an standard 7" wrist size.
-Pearls, you could use medium or little ones, I used both, you'll need 20 medium ones or 60 of the small ones.
-Clasp, 2 large and 2 small jump rings.
-Jewelry Pliers (not shown in the photo)

Start by inserting a medium pearl (or 3 little ones) on a safety pin, repeating this step for 20 pins.
Insert two of these pins with the pearl into an empty pin. This is the starting link for your bracelet.

Insert one pin with pearl into an empty one, then pass it trough the two pearl-pins from your starting link, then add a second pearl-pin and close it, you can have an idea of the pattern looking at this:

Repeat this step for about 9 times (9 links), or when you achieved your desired length.
Your bracelet should start and end with a vertical safety pin.

Attach a large jump ring on each end side of the bracelet, then on just one side add a small jump ring and a clasp.

And that's it, you can make them with crystals or any kind of bead you like to!

And if crafting stuff isn't your specialty you can always find some cool pieces from my roundup of favorites.
