I was reading today my daily dose of fashion blogs, and I saw Chiara's post, wearing her Banane Taipei Handbag, and just yesterday I was visiting this site because I've been wanting to buy a bag from this fab company that I discovered a while ago thanks to my dear friend Carolina from The World of C on her post; as for me, I really like the magenta or gray one.

Designer Spotlight: Solange Azagury-Partridge

Oh Those Lips! 

Well those lips and hearts and birds and animals and much more fabulous jewels are designed by Solange Azagury-Partridge, "Born and raised in west London (though conceived in Casablanca), Solange Azagury-Partridge first opened a shop to sell her idiosyncratic jewellery on Westbourne Grove in 1995."                

Her jewelry line is different, fun, unique, gorgeous! I only wish it was a little bit more affordable, maybe she could partner with a big brand and make a jewelry collaboration with some of her pieces at reasonable prices for girls like us. (Her lips rings retails for about $1,500)           
                                                           

In the meanwhile, I found some affordable and similar version to her awesome jewels.

Ombre Trend

My fascination for the Ombre (graduation of color) trend actually began a while ago and of course it started with the hair, I've been wanting to dye my hair ombre for a while now, and you might think that the key to getting this look is waiting for your roots to grow, but let me tell you that there's actually women dying their hair to achieve this look, and I'm going to be one of them since I have an appointment with my hair-colorist this Friday  (I promise to share some pics).

And as you may know, the ombre trend has been showing not only on the hair, but in clothing, accessories, nails and more, and here are my favorites.

I'm definitely trying something like #1 and #6, but I have to say that #2 & #3 are just gorgeous, but I like a more classic style, #4 is great if you like red tones and #5 show us the reverse ombre.

Numbers 7,8,9 and 10 are on my to do list for my nails, you can use some nail polishes that you have on the same color range or buy a nail kit here (11 & 12)

DIY: Lego Necklaces

Today DIY was really fun to make! I've always loved to play with Legos, you can always find these construction pieces all around my house, since my oldest boy is a Lego architect :D

I had to borrow some pieces from his Lego box after seeing an amazing cross necklace at Luisa Via Roma, from  Les Petits Joueurs, I wish I could buy it but is kind of expensive at more than $140, and having almost all the materials at home (except for the gold that surrounds the cross), this called for a DIY.

This was kind of addictive since I couldn't stop making jewelry with Legos, today I'll show you the cross and a silver-painted block necklace, but I have to show you the earrings I made on this weekend.

Happy Valentine's Day! DIY: Chain Ring

Believe me when I say I love every style of rings, the very-big ones, the large and medium ones, but also the very delicate and detailed ones, I feel more feminine and ladylike specially when wearing the lasts.

That's why today I wanted to show you how to DIY a delicate ring using old chains that you have, or you can buy them, what I did is that I bought a $1 chain necklace at Jewelry Box, and I used the chains and recycled the jump rings too.

I fell in love when I saw this kind of ring thanks to A pair and a Spare, where she made single delicate chain rings, what I made is a slightly different version, making this a one piece ring.

DIY: Pom Pom Necklace

Keeping on with the V-day theme, today It's the time for a bright pink Pom Pom DIY.

A few months ago I found these neon pink pom pom's at Hobby Lobby and I loved them so much that I bought them without knowing what to make with them, and last week I thought of making a necklace, I really love this color with gold, they add a perfect touch of neon to any outfit.

DIY: Heart Bracelet

Simple but cute, this heart bracelet is very easy to make and it will add a nice touch to an arm-party or when wore alone, I'm making several to give to my girlfriends on this V-Day.

You'll need:

- Sew on Heart Rhinestone (you can buy them here)

-2 pieces of Matte gold chain (at Michael's)
