Mi Moneda Necklace

A few months ago I told you about Mi Moneda Necklaces here, an Amsterdam based brand whose jewelry is really one of a kind with their personalized pendants and coins, that you can mix and match!

Well, a few weeks ago I received one of Mi Moneda Necklaces and two coins as a gift from their PR firm, I have to say that they're way more beautiful in real life that in their website pics, they're so pretty and shiny!

I received a Rose Gold necklace and two coins, the Buddha & Buddha and one from the Roca collection coins, and I can't wait to get more of these coins (like the Roma from Del Mundo Collection).

DIY Caviar Nails

If you're on Pinterest (the most addictive place on internet right now) then perhaps your might have noticed a picture of the caviar nails, yes, the new nail trend that is the 2012 version of the glitter ones.
Since I've bought these mini beads several months ago at Michael's I had to try the trend ASAP,and actually  it was really easy, but it will get easiest as soon as  UK nail polish brand Ciaté launches their new caviar nails kits that are going to be available at Sephora in the US. BTW, I just checked Ciaté homepage and as you could imagine, kits are sold out due to popular demand.
Either you could join their waiting list or you coul buy your mini beads and follow my tutorial :D

INSPIRATION
MY DIY
You'll need clear nail gloss polish, mini beads (I bought mine at Michael's, the brand is Recollections) in several colors or any color you like and a toothpick. I only painted the trend on my ring finger, this is more my style, painting the rest with silver polish, but you could do caviar on all nails.

Charms: a Story Teller

It was a few years ago that the husband bought me one of my most beloved jewelry pieces, a charm bracelet that we got at the Swarovski store inside the Louvre museum in Paris, and since then I've bought some charms that remind me of personal feelings, special moments or things I love.
One thing I really like about this  kind of bracelet is that you can always keep adding charms, changing the style, you could do an all travel bracelet,  one with things that remind you of your family (initials per example), one about your hobbies or things you like to do , I want some scissors to show my love for DIY, and some initials like the R for the husband and older son, a D for my dad and littlest son, well, my bracelet still needs more charms, there are so many stories I want to tell, and these ones that I'm going to show you are some of the charms that I wish to have on my bracelet soon.

Do you also have a story to tell?

DIY: Lego Earrings

A couple of weeks ago I showed you how to DIY some Lego necklaces, today I show you the easiest DIY with my boy Lego's.

You'll need a pair of Lego tiny squares, 2 rhinestones, a pair of earring posts and strong glue (I recommend E6000), since the one I show you below wasn't strong and I found myself making them all over again this time using E6000.

Start by adding glue to the front of the lego pieces, add the rhinestone and let it dry completely, when this is done add some glue to the back and paste the posts. Let them dry completely.
That's it!, I've been using them a lot since I'm a small-earrings-girl, I also made some in black.
